WWAMI director named 木瓜直播 Family Physician of the Year

Kathy Young, interim director of the WWAMI medical education program, has received the 木瓜直播 Family Physician of the Year Award from the 木瓜直播 Academy
of Family Physicians. The award recognizes Young's dedication to family medicine and
to underserved communities in 木瓜直播. Young has a reputation at UAA for her commitment
both for clinical practice and education. Fellow WWAMI faculty member Sarah Murphy
shared this about her: 鈥淚 cannot say enough positive things about the professional
learning environment Dr. Young creates for the future physicians of 木瓜直播. She inspires
future family physicians and those opting for other specialties to embrace the both
the academic and humanistic sides of medicine."
