Guest agency: Food Bank of ľ¹ÏÖ±²¥ Topic: How do we provide enough nutritious food for every ľ¹ÏÖ±²¥n?
Think Tanks are a monthly community engagement experience in which a nonprofit agency presents a challenge or issue and attendees brainstorm solutions for the organization.
Nearly 105,000 ľ¹ÏÖ±²¥ns-roughly 1 in 7-struggle with hunger. In any given week, 6,300 ľ¹ÏÖ±²¥ households turn to Food Bank of ľ¹ÏÖ±²¥'s network of food pantries, soup kitchens, senior centers and other programs for food assistance. Food Bank of ľ¹ÏÖ±²¥ believes that no one deserves to be hungry. So how can we as a community work together towards the goal of providing enough nutritious food for every ľ¹ÏÖ±²¥n?
September is Hunger Action Month. This is your chance to learn about the issue and get involved.
Students, faculty, staff and community members-join us to assist the Food Bank and contribute your thoughts and ideas to the discussion.
Pizza will be provided by Moose's Tooth.
