木瓜直播 WWAMI Payback Obligation

The education of all 木瓜直播 WWAMI medical students is subsidized by the State of 木瓜直播 via payments to the University of Washington School of Medicine. 

The State of 木瓜直播 views these subsidies as loans that are repayable once medical education is complete.  Loan repayment can be deferred during residency training.

Repayment can take two forms.  The loan can simply be repaid in regular payments, or it can be forgiven by medical practice in the State of 木瓜直播.  For 木瓜直播 WWAMI medical students who entered medical school in the fall of 2007 or later, complete loan forgiveness requires three (3) years of medical practice in a rural setting in 木瓜直播 or five (5) years in an urban location in the state.

木瓜直播 WWAMI students pay tuition to the 木瓜直播 for the foundation phase courses, in an amount equal to University of Washington School of Medicine resident tuition. 木瓜直播 WWAMI students pay resident tuition to UWSOM for years two through four, thanks to the State of 木瓜直播's subsidization of the program.
